Description
An Atreides ornithopter is readied for a patrol under the blazing sun on Arrakeen.
I've been trying to come up with a more original concept for an ornithopter from the Dune universe. My design isn't moved about by the wings, but rather the wing's geometry changes, as it is composed of a multitude of flight surfaces that adapt to the needed aerofoil configuration for flight, hovering or different maneuvers. This makes the ornithopter extremely maneuverable.
